Doyen Land was instructed to carry out building surveys as well as provide refurbishment and cost advice to support an acquisition by an investment group. The hotels were located around the country including Manchester, Bicester, Hartlepool and Chesterfield and were successfully turned around within a short time frame.
The hotels included the Grade II listed Victorian “Grand Hotel” in Hartlepool and the Grade II listed 16th century coaching inn, “The George” near Darlington.
